Welcome To SOAR Transition Program

The SOAR (Students Out Achieving Results) program is a transition program for students with disabilities ages 18 - 22, that provides transition from the high school environment to the community or post-secondary education.  SOAR serves students of varying levels of intellectual, academic, social/emotional, and/or functional needs. Students access community resources as they focus on developing skills to meet education, training, employment, and independent living goals.  Students also have access to  our PAES (Practical Assessment Exploration System) lab, which helps students explore different types of jobs using hands-on activities. Their career interests and PAES results are then used to place students in work experience in the community to assist in helping the students figure out what type of job they would like in the future and would be successful in.
